a concept:
- the empty tortures cas by tricking him, again and again, into thinking he’s being rescued– and then revealing the truth at the last moment
- this happens hundreds of times
- dean eventually does rescue him for real
- cas doesn’t think he’s real, but goes with him anyway, because a fake dean is still better than nothing
- dean leads cas out of the empty, and cas waits for him to dissolve into black goo and a mocking voice
- dean kisses cas, and cas waits for him to dissolve into black goo and a mocking voice
- dean falls asleep in cas’s arms, and cas waits for him to dissolve into black goo and a mocking voice
- this goes on for months
- eventually, cas asks sam when he started to believe that his freedom from the cage wasn’t just one of lucifer’s tricks
- sam admits “sometimes i still don’t believe it”

“Really? My favorite character is Dean.”
“Dean’s cool too. What are you supposed to be?”
“I suppose I am dressed as a human.”
“Oh. You make a very good human.”
“…Thank you.”Cas would be the guy who gives out the full-size candy bars so all the kids show up at his apartment.
Also he only owns, like, three outfits so red hoodie it is.Happy Halloween! (There was going to be a gory Abaddon pic but its nowhere near finished)
Gossiping is a powerful urge. University students are by no means exempt from it, despite ostensibly being intelligent adults. So when one sunny Monday morning, Professor Novak shows up to class with a visible hickey on the side of his neck, the rumor mill goes spinning out of control.
Because, yeah, Novak is good looking but he’s always seemed kind of… untouchable. Like a monk, but a hot one.
Do you know what’s the most painful thing about this? That after everything they have been through together, good and bad stuff, Cas sees that he hasn’t been able to save Dean like he has done for countless times, that he has lost Dean. He sees what’s left of the man he fell in love with leaving him. Dean is now a broken shell of the man Castiel has loved for a long time. Darkness has reached him and it’s consuming him, reaching the point where he can beat the shit out of Cas without any regret, but what hurts Castiel most, it’s the fact that there’s some remaining of Dean in there, that remaining of who Dean was before the Mark, and that part is the one who decided not to kill Cas.
There is Cas, on the floor, watching what the man he loves has become, leaving him behind, wondering how this happened, how he couldn’t save him, how the man he has shared so many moment with is almost dead, about to completely surrender to darkness, how after everything they have shared together it feels as if didn’t matter or exist. After everything he has done for him, Dean chooses to leave, even if he didn’t kill him, and it breaks Castiel’s heart to see how the human who made him feel love is about to disappear, that the person he trusted most not to hurt him ever, has broken his bones and his heart.
You know skinny jeans are gonna go out of style eventually but we’re gonna keep wearing them. They’re gonna become mum jeans. Parent style. People are gonna be like “oh my god dad your jeans are so tight it’s so embarrassing please put something else on” and you’re gonna be like “oh yes because those flappy impractical things are so much better” and you will feel superior but really you will be Uncool. You will be Uncool and you won’t see it, just like your parents. This is your fate.
CAS STOP SEXTING
see, this made me flinch and look away at first. In an ‘ararrrggh the writers are doing that stupid clueless trying-too-hard Cas stereotype again’.
But then as soon as Dean left the room Misha dropped it. And I realised it wasn’t the writers trying to hard with their Cas characterisation. It was Castiel himself. Cas was deliberately trying to do the ‘clueless about humanity’ thing for Dean’s sake - to make Dean smile and/or bring out that part of him that always responds warmly, protectively, teasingly, positively to Castiel when he does that. To appeal to the very Dean part of Dean.
And Dean didn’t give it to him. :(
