"Never again shall you thirst, for I am come to wet your mouth with wine and water, to quench your thirst with kisses. Words of Love from my own lips will serve as your oasis, and you shall never want for drink again."
like I don’t ACTUALLY think misha’s production company will be able to produce anything supernatural-related because copyright, distribution, blah blah blah. but if tsa america taught me anything, I wouldn’t put it past him to produce something with the names/faces/settings changed with JUST enough plausible deniability to get away with it and that both compels and terrifies me.
in my head I can already picture the worst-case scenario which is a twist & shout-style period gay drama that sets lgbt rights back ten years and somehow gets an oscar nom
July 29-30, 2021 - Misha Collins trends as people share his poetry book’s preview.
His book is #8 on Top 10 Bestseller Books [x]. The previews are available here and on Amazon (you have to be logged in). The list of poems can be found here.
(click for higher quality, I had to merge the pictures because of the photo limit)
In light of the news of Misha and Vicki’s separation (in the book’s acknowledgements, last picture), please remember to not tag or message either of them. Consider censoring their names on Twitter so that it doesn’t start trending there as well. Give them space. No one but them knows what happened and they don’t need strangers on the internet asking them about it. That includes all kinds of condolences or attempts to comfort them. It’s not our business. Just. Let it go. Or at least please stay on Tumblr.
There are other things being discussed as well: Bridgewater trailer is released (a podcast starring Misha Collins) [x], and Misha has been confirmed as a guest at this year’s German Comic Con [x].
On July 29 are also Rachel Miner’s (Meg, the Empty) and Timothy Omundson’s (Cain) birthdays! Happy birthday! 🎂 Several cast members made them wishes, including Misha, Kim Rhodes, Emily Swallow, and Ruth Connell.
if only misha collins had allowed me and rest of the team at @tohellandbackanthology to design and publish his poetry book. the publisher he’s currently using is known for those poetry books near the cash of your local big box store. the way they’re positioning this is as mindful moments for white moms as they’re the leaving the store… but the author bio and marketing don’t reflect that. not great.
if his poetry is about his life they could have positioned it in a way that made him eligible for award submission. they could have not leaned so heavily on us–and called us the correct name–in an attempt to broaden his audience beyond the fandom. fandom will buy it anyway! you don’t need to market it to us!
anyway we would have done a much better job just saying.
Friends. Friendos. Comrades. Take it from someone who has been here A Long Time: sometimes a pipe is just a pipe.
In context, Misha Collins is not talking about feeling useless because SPN is over. In context, he does not sound depressed, nor is he talking about mental health. IN CONTEXT he gave a non-answer to a question, either because he can’t put words in Cas’s mouth OR MORE LIKELY because the man literally cannot remember lines he said last week, forget almost a year ago. He is consistently the person who fails the “who said it” game. He’s probably apologizing and “feeling useless” because he cannot answer the question. And, honestly, probably because the DeanCas questions haven’t slowed down, and they haven’t become any less about us trying to reaffirm and prove their relationship existed in and is canon, and that probably, more than anything, has revealed to him the scale on which this show has fucked us. In a more abstract sense, I’d be willing to bet he’s apologizing for that too… because that is also something he can do absolutely nothing about.
Misha saying he feels useless hurts on a different level. Due to whatever reasons,he isn’t able to answer questions about the confession etc and I guess it’s making him feel bad.
I’ve been missing my SPNFamily, & I’ve always been sentimental about “lasts.” This was the last time I spent the night in the spare room at Jensen’s apt in Vancouver. (I miss my blanky.)
